The BaseVac Dental System incorporates two pump technologies. First is the HD Series rotary vane, oil free, water free design. Second is the D Series regenerative, oil free, water free vacuum pump design. Why two systems? The reason is based on the number of high flow evacuators used in a clinic at the same time. Some clinics require a higher volume of air to be moved on a continuous basis which means a high flow vacuum pump is required.
